Arnold Schwarzenegger - The Governator

One of Hollywood's famous personalities is Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger, otherwise known as Arnold Schwarzenegger. Being a Hollywood action film icon, Arnold is well known for his multiple talents and determination. Besides being an actor, he is a successful bodybuilder, model, businessman and also a politician. Achieving success at an early stage, he is a man who thrives to achieve his goal. Arnold is a true inspiration to all the youngsters who dream of achieving something big. Arnold's childhood was not led in luxury. He was not born with a silver spoon and it was his determination that has made him what he is today. He did not achieve overnight success. A determining factor for his success is his strong will power that has driven him to becoming the 38th Governor of California.

The Austrian Life Known as Austrian Oak, the child Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in Thal, a small Austrian village. He had a rough childhood being encouraged to work hard for a good living. From his young days, Arnold Schwarzenegger despised the common life. He always dreamed for a better life and it seems that his dream, after many years, came true. His childhood was quite difficult, as his parents imposed strict rules. Maybe for this reason, Arnold used to dream having a free life and this is why his father always considered him a rebel.

Arnold's Bodybuilding days and acting career When Arnold chose bodybuilding as his career, Steve Reeves was his greatest inspiration. Due to a new rule enforced in the year 1965 that all 18 year old males should serve in the Austrian army, Arnold joined to fulfill his service after which he won the junior Mr. Europe title. The turning point in life was when he won the Mr. Universe title which was the gateway to enter the land of opportunities, America. Arnold's strong accent was a barrier to his acting after he moved to the U.S. At the age of 23, Arnold was the youngest bodybuilder to win the Mr. Olympia title. He has the honor of winning it seven consecutive times.

Women in his life: Arnold Schwarzenegger met Barbara Outland Baker, an English teacher in 1969.He lived with her until 1974. Their mentalities were different. She wanted an ordinary life and the hero was against that. In July 1977 Arnold Schwarzenegger met his next love, Sue Moray, a Beverly Hills hairdresser's assistant. He married Maria Shriver, niece of former US President John F Kennedy. They are blessed with four children.

Film career Schwarzenegger's ambition was to get into acting and he got a chance to play the lead role of Hercules in the movie titled "Hercules in New York". There was no turning back after this. He went on to do many films such as "The long Goodbye", "Stay Hungry" and the "The Villain" Schwarzenegger's huge breakthrough in his acting career in the box office hit titled "Conan, the Barbarian which was released in the year 1982. Following this was another major box office hit "The Terminator ". Adding to his list of movies were Commando, Raw Deal, Predator, Batman & Robin.

Business and Political Arnold Schwarzenegger has begun a partnership with Franco Columbu, a bodybuilder fellow. After this profitable partnership, he also opened a restaurant Schatzi on Main at Santa Monica. He sold the restaurant back in 1998 and today he runs some small businesses.

Of course, we all know that his political life is going to reveal us many things, as today Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of California's Governors. - 40727
