What Is Rocket Piano All About?

By Melissa Lawson

Gone are the days when learning how to play the piano was such a drag. My very own experience with learning to play the piano is one muddled in fear as I would always remember how my piano teacher used to carry a stick that she would use to tap all the keys that I had to hit. Now, the approach is so much different.

Rocket Piano is the newest online piano course devised by Ruth Searle. Searle is a professional pianist who has earned national acclaim in her native New Zealand.

She is a versatile pianist who can perform rock to classical music and has received the Australasian Award. Her love for music has made her want to teach other people as well.

What is unique about Rocket Piano is that it can help anyone learn how to play the piano using different approach.

The first method it employs is by means of e-books and audio files. The books are all with different illustrations and instructions that are clear and easy enough to follow.

What I really appreciate with Rocket Piano is the fact that it does not only include information that one has to take note of when playing the piano but also the mistakes that one ought to avoid.

The course is divided into three parts: novice, intermediate and pro. This is a great way to make the learning more organized.

However, Rocket Piano also contains other platforms for learning for those who are neither into listening and reading. The course contains videos that carry step-by-step demonstrations of the lessons and principles included in learning how to play the piano.

There are some people who learn better by watching then by reading or listening. Some students can also combine the different media according to how better they would learn.

But what makes Rocket Piano different from all the others is the fact that it has different games to make learning more fun.

Jayde Musica Pro is a game that aims to help the student effectively learn how to read piano scores. - 40727
